Hi

I've lived in the general area (Villamartin to Punta Prima) for 12 years and have never  known anything worse than a major thunderstorm causing some roads to be impassable for a few hours, and some beaches losing their sand as the water escapes to the sea. There is no local river to cause widespread flooding. On the contrary, there is a canal which, almost by definition) passes through the lowest points in the area.

I've never heard of any houses being flooded.

You mention amenities - be aware that the small supermarket in the Plaza is closing down, so the nearest supermarket will be Dialprix in Los Dolses.

Cheers

Steve

Much obliges Steve. You are a blessing because the amenities on the Plaza were important. Walking distance is basic for us. Shall check los dulces. Have a lovely day.
