I am moving to Alicante area from Scotland with 2 cats one of which is very nervous. Can anybody give me any information about this. We have looked into travel by Air and also by Road but not sure what be best for the cats but also us. Can anybody help with information about travel with pets. Thanks. Lorr
It's not the easiest of things to travel with pets, but there is a way of taking the stress from you and your pets, and I'm told they are really good, even with a nervous pet.

And be reminded, you cannot fly back into the UK with a pet on a plane, it's a one way trip for pets on planes. Have a word with your vet.. petsmart vets are good.

We came last dec we have 3 cats which 2 are very nervous and we looked at pet trans company's and found they all have 3 or 4 cages for cats and then the rest of van is for dogs, we saw one in which the dogs were barking all the time which in itself is stress forxour cats so decided to bring them in our volvo ourselves via north sea ferrys from Hull to Zeebrugge then drive down took 2 days in all with one night on ferry and ond stop in France our car is an estate so we let em loose in back but they were with us so not too bad for them, i am not saying that the pet companys are wrong they are and do a wonderful job just not for us thanks
