In the past 4 visits to Benidorm in 18mths I've had 3 mobile phones stolen between bars and Cafeteria's, now I keep my phone in my pocket when I'm not using it! So don't leave your phone on the table in a bar or Cafeteria, as these people only take second to swipe it and they're gone with your phone before you even realise it has gone! I had my last one stolen 4wks ago in Pariso bar on Comunidad de Valencia Benidorm near Mercado and Hyper Supermercados! So be careful with your phone, I certainly will be from now on!!

...one before you even realise it has gone! I had my last one stolen 4wks ago in Pariso bar on Comunidad de Valencia Benidorm near Mercado and Hyper Supermercados! So be careful with your phone, I certainly will be from now on!!

It's a pickpocket thieves paradise here in Benidorm. The thieves know there is rich pickings around the bar areas. Why do people put phones on tables on show? Why walk about with expensive phones half out of their back pockets? If you must take phones and wads of cash out every night then keep both out of sight and in a secure pocket.

Old habits die hard! In the UK almost everyone puts their phone on the table, that's not to say that it doesn't happen here, but not that often, I certainly won't be leaving my phone on the table when I return on the 16th December for 3wks!

It’s all down to common sense, you would not leave a wad of cash sitting on your table, irrespective of what ever country you were in. Your phone is just a wad of cash, plus some. If your daft enough ! What can I say.
