Has anyone bought an apartment for holiday let’s , I would like some advice and information,  about letting agents , who are the best in Benidorm, I travel out every 6 weeks or so , I would need a company that does everything, the apartments I have viewed are close to the beach near the casino with one bed .  Everything is in place just need the apartment and a good letting agent . Hope someone can help , thanks Bev.

Please don't rely on an estate agent telling you that an apartment is certain to get a licence as there is no certainty even if an identical apartment in the same block has one. Owners who applied for the licence before June 2018 had a much easier time of it and didn't need a bathroom of 4.5 m2 and the Town Halls didn't get involved in deciding if they need or want more tourist lets in any given vicinity.

The Town Hall (Ayuntamiento) are the ones who have to pass it at the first stage as they will decide if it is considered a residential or tourist area, ensure there are no objections from the community of owners (if there is one) and then decide if they want another tourist let in the specific location. In some areas of the Costa Blanca South this stage is taking several months and it then goes further, if approved, and this could take several more months but all areas will be different at the first stage.
I would really urge you to read right through DaveBev1's guide as the only thing that has really changed is the length of time taken to get a licence.
