If the motivation for your question is because you are looking to buy at the best price then I don't thing season watching will help you much.

Ware my place is the prices have went up 10%in the past year  it's all down to location and how near you are to everything you can still pick up some good bargains though

I think the only time you see lower prices is when owners who have had their property on the market for a lengthy period of time at a ridiculously high price lower the price to something that is more realistic in an attempt to generate interest.
