Hi, I was just down the road Jan 6th....it was very nice and warm in the sun up until 4pm ish then rapidly got cool ( trousers and thick cardi time ). Unfortunately there has been bizar weather recently with thunderstorms tore torrential  rain and deep snow!   However, that's not to say it will be like that next year...odds on it will be as I initially described.  As you say....better than the uk.

Thankyou , yes I did see on the news there was snow , it would be disappointing to leave the uk for some warmth and then end up with snow ,thanks for your reply.

I don't understand this about properties not having thermal insulation to keep cool. I thought insulation keeps heat out as well as cold? Old houses in the uk have thick walls and keep cool. If the insulation was better there wouldn't be as much need for air con either would there?
