I am assuming by cycle path you mean a track/path which is distinct and separated from the road.

As an example, if you were to look on the CV905 road from Quesada to Torrevieja, there is a cycle path (also used by pedestrians) which runs alongside the road but is separated by a clear gap of vegetation/drainage ditch of varying width but probably at least a couple of metres.
...

...

This is very different than say for example the CV91 from near Rojales to Guardamar where cyclists would be on the road itself (even if there is maybe a c3ft gap from the white line on the side of the road to the end of the tarmac). Note - depending on the bike, it is possible to cycle this element on the paths (on both side of the river) by the Rio Segura (possible to do this pretty much from Murcia city if you wanted) but they are more compacted dirt rather than tarmac.

I'm not aware of any "catch all" place for cycle paths - I've largely found routes I'm comfortable with by exploring rather than requiring cycle paths - especially during winter alot of the roads are so quiet that you may have them to yourself. Using the above example of the CV91, I'm fairly sure sometimes when I've done that stretch I've neither seen an oncoming car or been overtaken by one!

I often start my routes by joining the canal service road between Los Dolses and La Rioja commercial centre. You can head one way along this through to Vistabella or head the other way down a fair bit into Murcia.

One route I take is to follow the canal path down to El Mirador where you can then join the signposted Eurovelo 8 route which while a mix of on-road and off-road paths works out as about 100miles (if you follow it through Sucina to Murcia to Orihuela to Guardamar and back down to Villamartin (note the signage stops when you come back into Valencia but the route is pretty straightforward after that).

I'd find restricting myself just to cycle paths or vias verdes would limit the opportunity to get out and about and fully explore the area. (There may be some apps that show the vias verdes but I've not looked for them but Google might be your friend in this).

I also like living by avoiding psychopathic drivers whizzing past me at ungodly speeds.

That's how we too feel about groups of cyclists standing up on their pedals going at "ungodly" speeds through the town centre and not stopping at pedestrian crossings!!!!

Again Steve, not killing anyone. It's not a fair comparison. Let it go, mate.

I'm glad you got it off your chest. I mean, to be honest, I've never even experienced it. I'm sure this experience is unique to you (if at all).

Anyway, this is all off-topic so please don't raise it again Steve. Thank you.

I'd like to personally thank @George55 for being the only person here to truly understand and answer the question correctly and politely.

Why not try asking the question on the N332 Facebook page?   As their website and Facebook page are for English speaking people, deal with anything to do with using the roads in Spain (particularly driving a vehicle) and are run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil, then they may be better positioned to answer your question.

I,m with kim on this on,the best way is just to get out their and look.they is new cycle paths coming on rout all the time, but always use a helmet and use day lights i.m back in the u k today  i cycled to alicante airport 2 hours for the last 15 years and i,v had no problems  but my advise is to any body is never get stuck in the middle of the road if in doubt cross like a pedestrian a lot of cyclists have got killed that way and also roundabouts if it,s busy just pull over and wait for the traffic to pass keep safe all
