How long does it take to walk from Barrio las Barracas into Benijofar centre - any history of flooding?

Hi

I was going to fly to Spain from the UK to view a property in Barrio las Barracas in April, but all travel has been cancelled and so I am hoping to rebook later in the year. I do drive, but I wanted to know roughly how long does it takes to walk into Benijofar from Barrio las Barracas (thinking of when I get older, and also just for a general daily walk).

Also, I understand there is a reinforced flood wall along Barrio las Barracas and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how efficient this has been and also how often flooding occurs?

Any general information about the Benijofar would also be good, i.e, fiestas, markets, evening entertainment/places to visit in the evenings.

Hi Jo,

Sorry, I know Benijófar really well, but I've only ever driven through Benejúzar - hopefully, someone from that village will be able to give you some first-hand experience.
