Moving to Benijofar end oct .. do you still need private health insurance if you are retired but not at pension age

Simple answer is yes. You will still need to prove you have healthcare when applying for residencia.

Private health insurance is needed for Residencia if you are not state pension age, check that the level of cover is accepted as not all are and a full year has to be paid for and proven as in the past some people started paying instalments and cancelled once they had their Residencia.
