If you haven't already done so put this post on the Talk Quesada forum as it's close to Monte Azul and you may have more luck.

Not a lot on monty azul and when bars do open they close pretty quick and if you drive after drinking the police are a bit hot .its pretty quiet there in winter

Recommend Benijofar village itself or Benimar. Both have more bars, restaurants and shops.
Benijofar has a bus service that runs between Elche and Torrevieja.
We moved to Benijofar village in July 2019 and love it. 😎💕💃🏻

I agree. Also worth adding that if you take your time look around you might find the perfect spot for you, even if you have never visited and want more info on that area most people on this forum will happily answer your questions.
