I have been compelled to remove part of my downstairs door jamb.
I have bought 'mata carcoma; wood protector and given all my doors a coat of this.
Will this work?

Would be good if you could post a photo, but the usual way is to cut out the affected timber and splice in new piece(s) using a scarf joint, which usually looks neater.
From a reasonably competent DIY’er!

Carcoma is woodworm. Termita is termite. Just in case the stuff only works on woodworm not termites, I have no idea if the stuff you have will work on both - I just know what the words are.
