Hey all

We are emigrating to Spain in 42 days.

Is Carre Four the best and cheapest place to buy all of our Electricals? Tv's/White goods/Toaster/Kettles etc?

Is Conforama at La Zenia Boulevard the cheapest place for beds, sofas, storage units and outdoor sofas and chairs as well as BBQs etc ?

Location is Benimar, but happy to visit Benijofar, Quesada, Rojales.... even Torrevieja if the price is right.

Thanks everyone

Lee

Carrefour may be the cheapest but they have a poor reputation for after sales service.

For electrical goods I prefer Tien 21. They've done a really good job for us in all the years we've been here. Euronics also have a good reputation.

When we've had to buy or replace white goods we've bought Fagor (our gas boiler is also Fagor). Their service agent is excellent, and it's easiest to just have one agent to call out if attention is needed.

For beds & mattresses also have a look at Beds Beds Beds at Heredades near you:

Good luck on the move.

Hi Lee,

We moved here to Benimar II permanently at the end of Feb this year and brought a lot of our furniture out here with us, sofas, beds, etc as they did seem quite expensive here. Like everywhere there are always special offers, sales and deals to be had!

We had to replace the oven and hop in our bungalow, bought a dishwasher and replaced the shower curtains with screens, all from Don-De in Quesada. Their sales staff in store were very helpful and service was excellent!

Good luck with your move.

Rob & Caroline.

Just to add to the excellent advice already submitted, if you are a 'John Lewis' type of person, there is also El Corte Ingles, which I consider to be the equivalent.

Also, Media Markt is like a Currys / PC World.

Hope it helps.

Good look with your move!

The other replies have given good advice, in my experience Milar is hard to beat with their price promise and good after sales service.
