i was really looking for advice/help
my son is in Beneitachele for six months working But he says he can't open up bank account. Due to needing a resident number
can anyone advise me

Unless things have changed I opened an account many years ago with just an NIE number at Sabadell.
You don't or at least didn't need a NIE number to open an account a year or so ago at Sabadell. Things may have changed but I don't think so, just go in with your passport and they should open a non-residents account for you.
That is what we did.
If your son is living here for more than 3 months he will need an NIE number and Residencia.

My partner and myself opened a bank account in Sabadell this summer. Just needed our passports and 200 euros.

Hi, I opened a non residents bank account with Sabadell last month in Quesada. Just needed my passport, and proof of income, that's it. Took an hour to do and got my bank card two weeks later. Hope this helps! :)
