If the phones are really new they should have intuitive instructions in various languages, though setting up can result somewhat stressy. Or, ask your grandkids.

Hi Wintongirl, and welcome to the Forum 👍

How about suggesting they tap into Google  the make of phone followed by the words ' setting up from new '

The search may bring up step by step YouTube tutorials on it.

Worth a try !

What phones do they have and what phone network are they trying to connect to? Or is it the wifi you want to set them up on? I might be able to find some YouTube tutorials for you as LeckyLes has suggested above.

The shop they bought them from should help. Failing that the nearest adolescent!

Hi Wintongirl

I’m assuming that neither you, nor grandchildren (?) are in a position to help; maybe you’re in the U.K. or at least, not in Spain.

If the phones were bought locally, as janiceroquero suggests, perhaps they would be able to help.

If they were bought online, it might be rather more problematic. Hopefully a forum member from Busot (I’m assuming that’s where your parent are) will spot the post and offer assistance.

It can be really difficult for older people. What seems so easy for the young can be really problematic. Fingers crossed 🤞🤪🥂

I’m so sorry mum has been unwell. I really do appreciate how difficult it is to manage things at arms length, to say nothing of the worry. I’m ever the optimist; hopefully someone will offer help.

Just a shot in the dark. Is there a local U3A? Maybe someone there might be able to assist😘🥂

Hi there,

What phones are they?

If you can tell me I might be able to put a step by step guide together if they can't find one online
