Looking for a chimney sweep,bought property,already two dead birds inside, sounds as if nesting in chimney. need advice, can leave till flown and block from bottom end but will need doing once flown

If you've got a circular metal flu rather than a UK style chimney then you probably don't need it sweeping. You just need someone to go up on the roof to put some steel mesh around the cowl. That's what I did on both the fire flu and the hob extractor fan outlet.

Thanks that's what we will do once chicks have flown nest but will need nest removing when this happens so hence chimney sweep required as you can not see nest

If you can't see the nest to fish it out, the easiest thing is to put a match to a fire-lighter and drop it down the flu.

I use a company called Sooty and Sweep. Family run business 60 years experience.  Here tomorrow!!!  You will be surprissed how much soot clings to a SS flue liner.
