I had a couple of white young peacocks (or hens) a few months ago. These too were ferral. They were attracted to a large mirror in my garden. stayed for about a week & then flew off. I saw them next at my neighbour´s house about 10 k away. Perched in front of a mirror!

Related to the pheasant family, oh they can fly!

Hi yes I am in Camino de la Borda The peacocks Don,t seem as bad as they used to be hear them mainly at night we still get the odd one coming in the garden, we used to get about 15 in until my husband put three layers of fine wire along the fence it seemed to stop them in their tracks seem to go now to the couple of holiday homes that are empty.
