Hi I’ve sent message to ALEX, re unable to use search and difficulty with most apps- PM messages as well. Can anyone help please.

Might be quicker to delete my account and open another - thanks

To use search , you click on the magnifying glass tool at the top of the page. That brings up a teeny weeny search box directly underneath it, it’s so small you might not even notice it at first, complete both boxes, topic and area and the results will then show up on a separate page, with a clearer search facility.

I tend to keep the location when I’m searching as all of Costa Blanca as topics are often hidden/posted in a different area to what you think.

Re Private Messaging, feel free to send me a test message for practice.
O n the left side of my post in grey are my user details, there’s a white box on there with an envelope and the words Private Message, click on that to send a message, not forgetting to click the blue button to send once you’ve finished compiling the message.

Talk Quesada is a similar set up .
To search use the box at the very top of the page if you search via topic you’re restricting tge number of answers you receive. For instance a lot of people will post a recommended tradesman under “General Discussion “ rather than under the correct heading. To send a message, user name details are on the right of a post, you have two little buttons PM or email, clicking on them enables you to send a message. On there a PM will appear to stick in your out box, it doesn’t show up as sent until the recipient has actually opened the message.
