Hello all,

We have recently purchased a house in Catral and will be visiting early February.

We have a log burner and I was hoping someone could advise the best place to purchase logs locally.

Thanks in advance

Fi

The one Ray mentions is immediately before the motorway roundabout.

There's one in San Felipe Neri, on the right immediately before the traffic lights.

There's also a small one on the left on the road heading out of Catral to the south Catral motorway junction.

I haven't been to Catral for a while, but I assume the above two are still there.

Wherever you go, make sure you get logs cut last winter, as some of the log yards are already getting logs cut this winter, and it would be a waste of time trying to burn these.

Hi,

Agree with everything already said and all the Lena yards are still there and open.

I have used them all over the years with mixed fortunes....

If you have the room to store them I find “ Antonio “ a guy who regularly has a pitch at zoco market really good and useful....he delivers approx 1.5 tonne of mixed wood orange, lemon, almond, olive etc for 120euro which does us most of the winter months!

Good luck!

Brilliant, thanks Basil. We will definitely check him out.
