Hello
What kind of advice are you looking for.? If you want to ask specific questions you can send me a Private Message (look under my profile for PM. on left hand side of page) I have lived in the area, close to the beach for 20 years , so happy to help if I can.
Cheers

It's good that you'll see it at that time of the year b/c you'll get a true picture of just how busy it gets in Summer.
I often wonder what time of the day they film A Place In The Sun because the beaches are basically empty & that's certainly not the case between mid-May & the end of September. It's literally standing room only on La Mata beach.
And forget car parking.
Not trying to put you off, honestly, but it's important you know the reality of the situation you're about to get yourselves into.

As previously mentioned, traffic in beach areas can be a nightmare in the summer months, especially August.
It can take twice as long to get from A to B Because of all the holidaymakers.
Parking close to the beach can be a nightmare so try and find a property with parking either on your own drive or underground parking. It’s mainly Spanish holiday makers, who drive down from Madrid and may not even move their car the whole time they are here.
Buying in a beach location you do need to visit at different times of the year, as the area will look and feel totally different in January to what it does in August.
But it’s a fabulous area to live. Happy House Hunting!

We have just bought in Molino Blanco having previously stayed there and in Azul Beach
We fell in love with this end of La Mata and looked mainly in this area of La Mata also considered Parquemar.
We did a number of visits before deciding at different times of year, mid June, early November, both good for sunbathing on beach and swimming in the sea, then also January/Feb could sunbathe but obviously no swimming in the sea, less restaurants open, much quieter locally but Torrevieja still so busy, tried the bus into Torrevieja even though we had a car, it's a really good service from La Mata
Hope that helps, happy to respond if you have any questions
