Hi all,
My wife and I have been looking at buying at home at Camping Colmar for a while now and have been in touch with the sales team there a couple of times. Unfortunately at the moment with restrictions, we have been unable to come over to have a look at the area. Is there anyone on here who has bought a home and lives there full time and can give us some information about the site and local area? Thanks for any advice

You may be able to get answers to some of your Spanish bureaucracy questions on the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain website. Many things have changed for Brits since the UK left the EU.

I know the area quite well, as we do not live not far from Colmar.
I cannot tell you about the site itself, but there is a bar and restaurant called Browns located there, which we use and it's excellent.
Colmar is only a 5-minute drive to El Campello, which is a great Spanish seaside town, lovely restaurants, plenty of shops and still with a Spanish feel. You can travel by tram to Alicante one way, Benidorm or Denia the other, you're really not far from anywhere.
Plenty of Hospitals etc in Alicante, which is a 30-minute drive, and a 40-minute drive to Alicante airport
Almost certainly I think you will need a car, as Colmar is situated outside of El Campello.
Not sure if this helps, but the area around El Campello is wonderful, good luck.

Thank you so much for that information. We have been keeping an eye on things but with this Pandemic it’ll be a while before we can come over and check things out for ourselves
