Hi, we are arriving at Alicante airport around 6pm on 31st Dec and will be staying in Coveta Fuma for 5-6 weeks.
Will any supermarkets, big or small still be open? Any suggestions for dinner, given that most places may well be booked up?

Most shops and superstores are open, however dinner can be problematric if not booked in advance, chances are next to nothing, and be prepared to exorbitant prices.

Most supermarkets will close earlier on Christmas and New Years eve. I know Mercadona are closing both days at 7pm. Al Campo may be open their normal hours worth checking their website. As for booking somewhere on NYE it could be problematic. Check the FB pages of restaurants near you. You may be lucky.

Okay, thanks for this. Restaurant is not an issue provided we can pick up some food from a supermarket! 🤞
