The town of Crevillent are holding their annual Moors and Christians Fiesta from the 17th September to the 13th October 2015. Highlights include the main 'official parades' and the 'entrance parades' on the Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October.


Friday 25th September
18:00-23:00 Inaurgation of the Medieval Market in the Plaza de la Constitucion and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
20:15 Flag exchange between the Captains followed by a concert of festival music all in the Casa Municipal de Cultura, José Candela Lledó.

Saturday 26th September
10:00-23:00 Medieval Market in the Plaza de la Constitucion and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
20:15 Act to proclaim the captains of each companies and the fiesta queens in the Auditorio de la Casa Municipal de Cultura.

Sunday 27th September
10:00-23:00 Medieval Market in the Plaza de la Constitucion and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

Friday 2nd October
20:00 Gathering of the comparsas in the Plaza Chapí, for parade to the Casa de la Villa.
21:00 Turning on of the fiesta lights and inaugural speech by the major from the balcony of the town hall.
23:45 Entrance Parade from el Parquet Telmo Vela to the Plaza de la Constitución, where a DJ will continue the party atmosphere.

Saturday 3rd October
19:30 Carnival Humor Parade along Santo Tomás, Avda. de Madrid, Stma. Trinidad, San Sebastián, Plaza Chapí, Blasco Ibáñez finishing in Plaza de la Constitución.

Sunday 4th October
13:00 Hamburguesa Fiesta in the Parc Nou Municipal

Friday 9th October
18:00 Entrance Parade for the Children Comparsas from the Puertas de Orihuela in the Parque Telmo Vela along Stma. Trinidad, San Sebastián, Plaza Chapi, Blasco Ibáñez finishing at the Plaza de la Constitución.
20:30 Embassy al Ra´is in the Plaza de la Constitución. The moors are in the castle and the Christians send their ambassador to ask for a surrender resulting in war.

Saturday 10th October
07:30 Diana early morning parade of the Moors and Christians through the streets of the town.
11:00 Official Parade of the Moors through the Plaza de la Constitucion.
18:30 Entrance Parade of the Moors from c/ Santo Tomás, along calles de Avda. de Madrid, Stma. Trinidad, San Sebastián, Plaza Chapí, Blasco Ibáñez, Plaza de la Constitución and finishing in c/ Santo Tomás.

Sunday 11th October
07:30 Diana early morning parade of the Moors and Christians through the streets of the town.
11:00 Official Parade of the Christian Comparsasa through the Plaza de la Constitucion.
18:30 Entrance Parade of the Christians from c/ Santo Tomás, along calles de Avda. de Madrid, Stma. Trinidad, San Sebastián, Plaza Chapí, Blasco Ibáñez, Plaza de la Constitución and finishing in c/ Santo Tomás.

Monday 12th October
08:00 Firing of the Arcabuceria (guns) starting from Paseo del Calvario along calles Morquera, Blasco Ibáñez, finishing in the Plaza de la Constitución.
17:00 Firing of the Arcabuceria (guns) starting from Paseo del Calvario along calles Morquera, Blasco Ibáñez, finishing in the Plaza de la Constitución.
18:30 The captured Moorish Ra´is release is negotiated with the Rey Don Jaime I in the Plaza de la Constitución.

Tuesday 13th October
20:30 Solemn Procession from the Parroquia de la Stma. Trinidad to the Parroquia de Ntra. Sra. de Belén, followed by the Grand Firework Display and performance of the fiesta hymn.
