At the moment we are in "solar outage time". This is the time when the suns path takes it directly behind the tv satellites, and the suns energy swamps out the weaker channels. It lasts up to 20 minutes, at around 1030-11am ish. It happens twice a year around the time of the spring and autumn equinoxes.
Otherwise, loss of satellite signals can be down to a number of things : dish is too small for the channels you want to watch, dish alignment issues, lnb issues, cable issues, cable connection issues, or receiver issues.
And the other option is that the TV is not getting a signal from the satellite box as the scart or HDMI cable or connections are loose or broken, or you have the TV on the wrong input.
