90 day rule...on buying property is a real pain if your looking for a long stay visa. When a property has been brought and you have to leave spain 🇪🇸 on 90 day rule until you get full residency...meaning having to have a residing address in UK to return to on your 3month breaks?...Lew

I think that there's more "illegal" immigration now that the legal route has been reduced. However the UK government appears to believe that we need these young workers to support an ageing population.

Strange how this thread has turned into Brexit and illegal immigrants when the OP wanted to know about the 90 day rule. 🤷

Always the same with ‘remoaners’’ who live abroad unable to accept democracy

I guess the fact is that if you need more than 90/180 then folk should look to change residency if that works and when residency has been changed then it should become a moot point

Brexit has also been responsible for more Brit illegal immigrants in Spain, call themselves expats.

What a ridiculous comment. If anything, it has cut down the number of illegal Brits in Spain. Plus we really need to learn a bit of English. You'd be an immigrant in Spain but an expat from your own country. Either is acceptable.
