Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a 4 bed house or 2x2 bed apartments.

We have just returned from la marina area but have not heard of Daya Nueva, how far from the airport is it and from beach, shopping etc, all information would be appreciated.

     Thanks Craig

Hi Craig,

Daya Nueva is about 15 minutes longer to drive to the airport.  It's more inland than La Marina, so it's also a 15 minutes drive to the nearest beach at Guardamar del Segura.  It's quite a small, typically Spanish town with a few local shops, bars and restaurants, but the facilities are nowhere near as extensive as La Marina.  Daya Nueva is only a 5-10 minutes drive to Almoradí, a much larger, Spanish inland town with many more facilities.  I don´t know what´s drawn you to Daya Nueva, but personally, I prefer Daya Vieja, the next village along, so about 5 minutes closer to the amenities I´ve described above.

If you can give more detail of what you´re looking for, we may be able to be more specific.

Kind regards,

Kim

Just  read  your  advice   about  Daya Nueva  v  Daya  Vieja

As  I  just  missed  out on a Property  in  Daya Nueva,   what in your  opinion  is better about  Daya  Vieja,

Daya Nueva  has  a 25m  length  swimming pool,   Does Daya  Vieja  have one  as  swimming  is  hobby  of  mine, both  seem quite  to me,  Some  Spanish  is  required  in both  villages  to survive

I  am seeking  a 2 bed  all living accommodation on one level and no neighbours above or below me  a  Bungalow

Your advise  is  always very  good and it  main   reasons  I  sending  messages,  but  might  wait till  next  year  as in  a lot  of  Business  correspondence  saying  a  Financial  strom  brewing

Hi Sligogent,

I haven't used it, but Daya Vieja has a small sports centre with pool:

The apartment complexes in the village have their own shared pools too.

The rest of what I like about Daya Vieja, as opposed to Daya Nueva, is the "look and feel" of the place, and of course that's entirely subjective.  It would be best if you could visit both and get a feel for them yourself, or have a 'walk' around them on Google Earth.

Kind regards,

Kim
