Can you pay Spanish utilities bills (electric water Suma) from a wise banking App.

Yes you can.

Once you have logged in, click on manage at the bottom of the page, then click set up a direct debit.

Legally any bank with an EU IBAN has to be accepted in Spain,(Irish,German etc,Wise euro account) however some places, institutions, in Spain do not comply ,from experience ,Orange in Benidorm.You can either give your business to one that does,again in Benidorm,Movistar,or get an N26 Spanish bank account.Seems N26 recognise that sometimes it is easier to comply with things in Spain than to argue that they are wrong.

Just had a similar experience as changed to Fineco Bank a Italian online bank with no charges but the Gas company won't accept a DD from them. So I said send your bill by email and I will do a transfer, Sorted!!

All other utilities have been OK - only it took a long time to set up but thats Spain.
