I’m looking to hire an automatic car when I return in June. I fly into Alicante but don’t want to drive from Alicante to Campoamor where my place is. Are there any companies you recommend that will meet me at the airport, drive me to my apartment and do the reverse when I leave. Thanks.

I have been using DoYouSpain for years and touch wood I’ve never had a problem.
I’ve just pre-booked a car in June at an amazingly low price. Of course they try to sell you the extra insurances but that is your decision.
No doubt there will be horror stories posted soon.
My personal record for a car is €7 for eight days in January.

There is a company opposite La Fuente commercial centre who you can hire a car from and for a fee they will pick uou up and take you back to the airport.
His no is 0034602547759 and his name is Ian.
We’ve used him quite a few tines and he’s really good.
