Does anyone know what’s happening to montepiedra hotel

Hi
Building work has started at montepiedra hotel does anyone know what it is going to be?
It looks like they are just modernising it ..They have been working on it for 6 months now ..Tbh it needed upgrading especially the rooms and pool area was dilapidated....

Thanks there was discussion locally about it being apartments but no signs up yes it was in need of a refurb
