Hello everyone,

Hope you're well,

I am writing on behalf of my Step-mother, Julie Rolph, who has an appointment at the Ayuntamiento de Dolores on the 11th July at 11.30am. Julie will need a translator for the appointment and I wondered if you may be able to suggest some local translators we could pay to accompany her to the appointment?

Many thanks,

Jack Rolph

Hi Jack and welcome to the forum,

I would recommend Sophie Johnson.  She lives in Daya Nueva and can be contacted on her mobile: (00 34) 675 36 70 98.  She's also on WhatsApp and will be quicker to respond to messages than voicemails.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim,

Thank you for your help,

Do you know how quickly Sophie normally replies? I messaged her Friday and haven't heard back and she doesn't pick up the phone.

Many thanks,

Jack

Hi Jack,

Here at our local health clinic there are advertisements offering translation services on the notice board. Maybe there is something similar at your health clinic.

Have you looked in the freebie newspapers?

Here in Benidorm the Translators usually charge €20 for the first hour then €10 for each hour after.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your message,

Afraid i'm based in England and i'm looking because my step mother wouldn't know how to find one. I will suggest this to her.

Many thanks,

Jack
