Where can I get a taxi and do they speak English please.

Most Taxis in the Alicante area are now linked to "PideTaxi". You can download an app (in English) to your phone and order a taxi online. It gives you an estimate of the cost of the journey, the registration number and type of vehicle once your taxi is on its way to you. You will get a pretty exact arrival time and you can track the taxi on a map.
We have used it several times now and it really does work.
