Meeting friends

Can anyone recommend a good place to meet during the day, for lunch and where there is good parking

Parking, August, El Campello? The International Club is open for lunch Wednesday and Sunday, usually, but as it is August with many members away there is no Wednesday opening and no lunch this Sunday but why not take the opportunity to visit and introduce yourself? At the other end of town there is Charlies Den (was Katies) on Calle de San Bartolomé above the port car park, also Giggly Squid and Bernies along the promenade.
