External Letterbox lock no longer working

Having just returned to our holiday home, I've noticed that the external letterbox (outside of the complex where the postman is meant to post things), no longer locks..It never looked particularly strong when we bought the property last year, but now the box won't lock.. Does anyone know whether there's anyway of buying a new 'lock' for these boxes?? I'm guessing as every complex has their 'own' type it's more complicated than that?? thanks for any advice?

Either contact the Administrator or President of the complex. Or you could even arrange to pay for a box at your local Correos office.

You can buy a new lock for it easily replaced Ebay have them I'm sure they will be some DIY shops local that will have them

thanks might try and get hubby to dismantle it tomorrow and see if we can find a similar one in the local diy if the complex administrator doesn't have any suggestions... Are everyone's letterboxes here rusty like mine? Or were we just unlucky??? thanks!
