My names Andy and I’m in the process of buying an apartment in Aguis.
I was hoping someone could recommend a good solicitor and also a company who can lock down a fixed amount of currency for the transaction.
Any other tips or advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi, Andy.
I used Smart Currency exchange to buy a forward contract for Euros. I also use transferwise to move money from my UK bank to my Spanish Bank. The guys at Smart are very helpful and, if your contract is for more than, I think, €3000 the onward transfers are free from their charges.
As to a solicitor, we used Cristina Torres and found her to be very helpful and prepared to go the extra mile to help her clients. Her office is directly opposite the tram stop in El Campello.
