Not sure about that particular site but a ballpoint figure will be somewhere between €4250 to €5500 per annum.

Yes, it's much more than the mortgage on our villa too. Even as an ex caravanner of 30 years I really don't understand why people would pay that when a villa can be had for much less, unless it's for the social side of things I suppose.
We looked at sites for friends of ours, they bought a house in the end as it made more financial sense.

Yes, for long term or full time a property is more financial viable.

We only have a small budget. So static purchase seems the better option. But we would prefer a solid dwelling as it were without management fees. Any ideas on best local villages where purchase costs are reasonable. Say for a mid terrace 2 bed town house.

Hello
Just something to be aware of.... If you buy a property (any size) in an Urbanisation with communal facilities, you will be subject to annual Community fees.
My own example for this is..... €500 per year ( been stable for years- due to increase soon) This pays for regular pool maintenance, gardeners, weekly cleaners for stairs/corridors + outside area, community insurance &electricity, pool/shower water etc
Fees vary from one place to another, if the there are lifts for high rise properties, the fees are higher. Always ask if you find somewhere that you like , so that you can factor that into your finances.
Cheers
