Estimate for completion

Morning all
Just after an estimate on how long roughly contract to completion has taken you?

There are a number of factors that can delay things. We bought off a Spanish lady who wasn't using a solicitor and didn't have any of the paperwork in place even though the property had been up for sale for years (it needed a lot of work which put a lot of people off). We put the deposit down with our abogado in the April and our UK house completed 28th June so we had to move down and after 2 weeks in a B&B with our two dogs we finally got her to give us a rent to buy contract but even then we didn't finally complete until 23rd November!

Thank you we both have solicitors in place so hoping to be completed by mid October as cash buyers. Fingers crossed it doesn’t take as long as as yours did :|

We were cash buyers as well but I don't think our experience is the norm. All the best.
