Hi everyone it’s me again with more questions?  Can l have opinions of living in El Galan in an apartment which doesn’t have a pool. How easy is it to get anywhere by bus?

Hi

I'm not familiar with El Galan itself, but I am familiar with the only bus service in the area. Your nearest stop is close to the electrical shop "Euronics" (look on Google maps).

The bus is every 90 minutes http://costazul.net/lineas-urbanas/c-c-la-zenia-boulevard-c-de-salud-aguamarina/ but for most of the year it doesn't run at weekends, and never runs late at night. It runs from La Zenia Boulevard to Cabo Roig i.e. it's a very local service. If you want to go further, you'll have to go to either of those places and catch another bus - you can look for the other buses on the above link.

If you won't have a car, then I'd personally say there are much better locations to consider.

Hope I've helped!

Cheers

Hi,

Steve's spot on about the bus

outside Euronics the bus goes down past Mercadona and Orihuela Costa to Cabo roig (nice market there on thursdays)

If you cross the road at Euronics the bus stop there goes up the hill to Villamartin Plaza then via Playa Flemence to La Zenia boulevard, as of the date of your post it was €1.50 per trip regardless of where you board or leave the bus.

You can ask the bus driver for a timetable or visit the information centre in La Zenia Blvd they have plenty.

Regarding apts, the best advice is what I did, rent something for a few weeks and have a good look around first.

Good luck,

Declan
