internet providers in Elda

Hi.

I am looking for an internet provider in Elda, because I am only out in Spain 3 or 4 times a year it would not be worth

me paying for a full year. What I am looking for if possible is to have fibre installed and use it on an OFF and ON basis.

Like calling a provider before leaving the U.K. and asking them to turn internet on and then on arrival back in the UK. calling to ask them to turn it off. Hoping this is a possibility and would love to hear any suggestions.

Cableworld/Airworld are based in Elda and have a shop in the town centre.

As I'm out of town I use their wireless internet. It's perfectly adequate for my needs and pretty reliable. Outages are soon fixed.

Hi thank you for your response to my question. Since posting my query I have been in contact with cable world in Elda, they have said that they do a seasonal package that allows me to connect and disconnect for a minimum of one month at a time. Installation cost €121.00 payable prior to instalation. Hope this is of use to anyone else needing Internet in Elda/Peter. Thank you so much to the forum and please keep up the good work.

Glad you have been able to get fixed up. Just out of interest will you be on cable or wireless? I have a little dish about the size of a frying pan on the roof for my wireless.

That makes sense as wireless suits out of towners like me. We are quite lucky even to get that.

Sax, my nearest town, has just been completely rewired for fibre optic, but only in town. It seems to have been a huge job, but the reception should be teriffic.
