Post problems in Gata de Gorgos

We live on Gata Residencial between Gata de Gorgos and Pedreguer. Talking to one of my neighbours this morning, another resident told her that we have to go to Correos in Teulada to collect our post now, as they are not delivering. We have heard nothing official, but we have been waiting over two weeks for a new bank card. What I don't understand is why there would be no deliveries and why we would have to go all the way to Teulada?

Does anyone know anything about this?

Hello

I think the only 'official' answer you will get is by asking the Correos. Neighbourly hearsay is very often incomplete or inaccurate.

We effectively live a short drive away from you. We have never ever had the luxury of residential postal delivery, this is common in rural areas. Elinspain is correct, the only way to be sure is to go to Correos and ask.

We have always rented an Apartado de Correos in our nearest small town and also a buzón from the Ajuntamiento which is situated not too far away. Per haps Teulada is being suggested as it may be the nearest sorting office, depot, as such. To my knowledge, there exist two oficinas de Correos in Gata, they may have Apartado facilities and you could always start there. Our nearest sorting office is actually Benissa, but we have the Apartado in the Xalo office.
