We have a piece of land in Confrides on La Florent and are looking for recommendations for builders. Has anyone in the area used a company to design and build on our rustic land. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Louise.

Check first with your council (Urbanismo) what you can do and what not.

Building on land designated ‘ rustic’ can be fraught with legal difficulty. I would echo killjoy’s advice and check first with the Ajuntamiento that permission will be given. Unless of course you already have done so.
There is a serious move on the part of the Valencian authorities atm to try and do something about legalizing the huge volume of illegal property in the area, and various criteria are now being applied.

Our piece of land is only 15 minutes from Guadalest. That’s why I chose this forum … is there a reason why the Valencia one would be more ideal?
