I’d appreciate any feedback on living here. It seems a lovely Spanish village. What are the pros and cons of living here?

If you have a UK passport............

Since Brexit,  to live in Spain permanently you will need to apply for and gain a non-lucrative visa.

how flexible is the per person (yearly income) to gain a non lucrative visa to come and live in spain permanently?

I have read 1st person (my husband needs 27,000 Euros per person in bank (or receive a monthly income of 2,259  euros

Then 2nd independent per person (wife) (yearly income 6778.00) or receive a monthly income (564.00 euros)  - i won't have this

BUT

We will also be coming to spain with 300k once the house has sold

Thanks

Hi,

I lived in Las Heredades for 19 years - just moved out and looking to sell my house there (just in case).

It's a great place to live. Local Spanish generally are friendly. Local bars/within walking distance are very reasonable for food and drink.

You have so many places to walk nearby - riverside & country walks - peaceful. Good for dog walks, bike rides etc.

Quesada / Rojales / Benijofar all within a 10 minute drive. Almoradi can be walked in 15 mins or 5 min drive.

Guardamar which is a great place to visit - beach/town 15-minute drive * 30-40 minute bike ride.

Lovely mountain views and a real feeling of community.

The only reason I moved is wanted a garden with a bit more space and nothing I could find locally that fitted the bill - so moved 10 mins up the road. I think the property is very good value in this location, considering it is a nice peaceful, yet not remote location - and also half an hour or so from both Alicante and Murcia airports.

The only negative I can think of is the odd bit of noise from the fiestas (usual in any village) - for me was absolute bliss after living and commuting in London for too long.

If you need any more info - welcome to message me.

Graham

There are some apartments available that likely will fit your requirements.

Mine is probably unsuitable, as is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom semi-detached townhouse with a double garage underbuild and community pool.
