Broadband internet and TV

Hello

Can anyone tell me what is the best service for the internet and TV.We had a annual package at first but has we only use our home for holidays we feel that the annual package is not worth it. Since I have been looking to change providers Im getting confused we have had a quote for the PAYG for the internet. And then for the TV £10.00 ALSO EACH TIME FOR CONNECTION is this right ?. Also we have looked into the 6 monthly service were you pay for 6 months of the year every time you visit then the interent is on for a month, but also this company says the TV is free for one year then a fee after of 10e a month. I thought freeview was free. Someone told me that we should be able to pick up freeveiw TV from the community satelite dish also that they use there amazon freeveiw stick and this works as well. Can anyone also advise me on the TV we have just returned from spain and yet again the TV keeps freezing so it becomes un watchable at time. If anyone can help. I know that there are several TV things on here but I still dont quite understand.

Freeview is free. In the UK.

Freeview is UK TV via a TV aerial.

Freeview is NOT available in Spain.

Freeview is NOT available via a satellite dish.

The satellite equivalent, Freesat, is available in Spain,and channel like BBC ITV C4 Five are all available subscription free.

Perhaps your supplier was offering "uk channels" as part of an internet streaming deal they offer, free for the first year, and you have to pay afterwards.

"amazon freeveiw stick" - no such thing. perhaps you mean an amazon firestick? Which uses streams (legal and pirated depending on which apps you use and load up).

"and yet again the TV keeps freezing so it becomes un watchable at time." - via satellite, Freesat, you will get no freezing, unless very heavy rain disrupts the signals. Which means that you are probably getting a stream,, and your freezing is down to either your internet being too slow, or your stream provider has issues.
