Hi everyone
I was recently informed that it was wise to have a mobile with a Spanish sim card.
I do have 2 mobiles, but wondered, that with the recent changes in data roaming charges if it was still a worthwhile exercise?
Any information would be appreciated

Pete is correct. Most Spanish companies won't call you. However if you make the majority of your call traffic to UK numbers it's cheaper to keep your UK contract and number.
One option might be to have a UK contract and a Spanish PAYG

Best to have a Spanish pay as you go, I find happy mobile from phone house useful and when you top up it doesn't run out after a certain period of time
