Hi Alan

Thank you very much for your response. You are so lucky to have had a place in Spain for so long.  Can I please ask why you are moving from Torrevieja after such a long time? With it being close by I have seen some properties that are ideal and within our small budget but for some reason I k...

...eep veering back to La Florida area.

The property we have seen online is a 2 bed apt first floor with one below. Private roof terrace, communal pool. Just what we are looking for.  In around 3 years we will be retiring, hubby will be 55 and me a couple of years older 🙈 so still young and want lots going on around us. We will be spending half the year there following the 90/180 rule so it will be our second home.

Good Morning again,

We sold our  2nd floor apartment in Torre back in 2018 after I had second heart attack, as the stairs were proving too much. We did not plan on buying another, but we went on a Med Cruise which stopped at Cadiz, Catagena and Barcelona and we realised we made a mistake in selling our Spanish property. So when we got back, we booked a hotel and flight and went back and bought our property in La Florida. We love Spain hence our permanent move now. El Paraiso was in a good position for walking or getting a bus into Town (Torre) but not a lot more going on around with only a limited amount of Bars and Restaurants. We actual lived there for four years from 1997 -2001 and run our own Bar/Restaurant in El Paraiso. In my opinion La Florida and surrounding area is in a good position to suit all needs.

Hope this helps but feel free to ask more.

Regards

Alan

Thanks again Alan and sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope you are fully recovered.  I think I'm convinced and settled on La Florida now.

Maybe we will be neighbours in the not so distant future.

Denise Hello,

Yes thank you, fully recovered now just taking things a lot easier. I am sure you are making the right choice and yes keep in touch we may well end up as neighbours. Not sure when we will eventually arrive, and not sure what you would be looking for but if you wanted to view our 2 bed first floor apartment, I would be happy to show you around and answer any questions.

Kind Regards

Alan
