Getting Deeds from bank

Hi I have just paid off my mortgage and want to get the deeds from the bank in La Mata.On line it seems quite complicated and expensive. Can anyone give me more advice
It will be expensive. The bank will charge for a certificate of completion and then it has to go to a notary to certify there is no debt on the property. Then the deed has to be changed at the registry office to show it has been removed.
I think ours cost in excess of 500 euro and that was some 9 years ago. However, the bank simply handed over a copy of the deeds when we asked for them.
