Can anyone tell me if any one provides reasonable transfers from the airport to la mata. We arrive after the last bus departs and been told taxis ate quite expensive ?

Hi. If 40€ is ok for you I can give you the details for the taxi driver who I always use no matter what time I need picking up from Alicante airport

We are staying in la mata over the weekend and trying to find out what Easter parades or events are happening as we missed one last night. Checked various sites but can't find any thing.

It seems that Alan571 has a list of people wanting this taxi drivers number but doesn't appear to have replied to anyone( unless he has sent P.Ms.)
I'm sure the taxi driver would also be delighted in these difficult times, to have some new customers.... When he came online this morning I was hopeful.......Come on Alan, I would like the number too please!

Hi Elinspain, you're quite correct in your assumption that I have sent the taxi driver's details by private message to the five people who have so far asked me for it. I did not want to post his details publicly until I have had the chance to ask him in person exactly how he wants me to word it - ie rates and times.
I will be able to do that later this week when I arrive in Spain again. For now however I'll send his details to you by pm.
