Hello all I'm new to this forum and hope someone can advise me. I bought an apartment last year in La Mata and am contemplating getting a BBQ on the solarium. Back in England we only ever use a gas BBQ but I'm wondering if there is any way I can get the gas here. I don't live here so don't have a car. Thanks

Hello Alan

You can buy gas bottles from some nearby petrol stations but you will need transport to get it home. However, before you do this you must check with your community president/ administrators to see if   BBQs on your  solarium are allowed  - -- in the case of my urbanisation, it is banned, as it's  classed as a fire risk.

Cheers

Thanks Elinspain I'd never even considered that permission might be required. I'm assuming that a BBQ will be ok for me as the properties on either side of me both have them. I was hoping that there may be some business that delivers gas bottles as they do in the UK, but if not I know a friendly bar owner (at Jefe's if you know it) who may be able to help me out
