Would love to source a nice 2nd hand Skoda Octavia for use while in La Nucia...very reliable vehicle, well regardedin Irelandand UK, good boot room (for golf clubs, takes 4), this type, model etc seem very scarce among 2nd hand dealers in the La Nucia, L'Albir area...any recommendations?
They are about but don't seem to come up for sale very often.
I would say that most owners are likely hanging on to them for the very reasons you mention!

You could try Flexicar. Looks like they will soon be opening a branch at La Marina Finestrat. The Kamiq or Karoq seems to be replacing the Octavia.
