I have a villa in La Nucia. We would like to do holiday rentals in the adjoined apartment. I’ve heard La Nucia no longer allow rental licences is this true? Has anyone applied recently?

You will need to ask at the Town Hall if they are issuing Compatibility Certificates. Without that you cannot apply for the Tourist License The Town Hall only issue that Certificate, not the actual License.
