Any ideas where I can buy an ice cube maker for home use?

It’s too hot for them to produce a satisfactory size ice cube here.

They can only make a small sliver of ice, which melts within seconds..

The one we brought over from the U.K. has a maximum operating temperature of 25C

Have you got more details , model number, what size are the ice cubes etc.

Does the instruction manual give you the operating temperature?

I find that even when mine works in the cooler months I need to put at least 10-12 cubes in a gin glass and even then it has melted well before I’ve finished my drink.

Hi, it is a silvercrest model SEMK105A1, it will work in temperatures between 10-32degrees, the size of the cubes are 3cm x 2cm so not massive. my wife makes a 1.5 ltr of bottled water at a time and puts it in the freezer, she likes titanic G & T's, hope this helps!!
