Recommends for places to visit inland

Where is a nice town/village/reserve etc to have a drive out to inland ....thanks
Cartagena and particularly Murcia with its beautiful Cathedral are worth visiting, also Orihuela town is worth a visit. If you don't fancy driving David's Coach Trips run inexpensive day trips with quality well maintained coaches, guides and safe drivers. There is a beautiful small village called Polop that is worth driving to just for the patisserie.
